TrueTopo Documentation

The geospatial intelligence platform for remote environments.

TrueTopo is a next-generation geospatial platform designed for remote and wilderness environments. Built with modern edge infrastructure and open geospatial data, TrueTopo provides high-performance mapping, terrain intelligence, and access analysis for explorers, hunters, pilots, researchers, and developers.

Unlike traditional mapping platforms that rely on centralized servers and expensive infrastructure, TrueTopo uses a distributed architecture powered by Cloudflare’s global network and static geospatial datasets.

This allows the platform to deliver fast, reliable mapping anywhere in the world with minimal operational cost.

TrueTopo is designed to answer a simple question:

Not just “Where is this place?” but “What can I do there, and how do I legally reach it?”

Developers

Use TrueTopo APIs, integrate datasets, and build apps on the platform.

Data engineers

Understand pipelines, contribute datasets, and run ingestion tools.

Enterprise & government

Understand the architecture, trust the data, and license datasets.

Power users & GIS pros
